Our parent organization, Economic Incubators, Inc. and their board of directors oversees both the Culinary Accelerator as well as the Naples Business Accelerator.

Jennifer Pellechio is the Chief Operating Officer of the Economic Incubators, Inc. (EII), a non-profit organization including the Naples Accelerator, Woodstock’s Micro Market, and the Florida Culinary Accelerator @ Immokalee. In this capacity, she manages the Accelerator’s programs. In addition, she is the President/CEO of JPConsulting & Team, LLC. Prior to joining the EII, Jennifer worked for the Southwest Florida Regional Planning Council for seventeen (17) years.

During her tenure at the Southwest Florida Regional Planning Council she held various positions in planning roles, Network Roles and Deputy Director. In addition, she was the Program Manager for Southwest Florida Regional Economic Development District (EDD). Jennifer has extensive experience in working with grants, managing and implementing economic development projects. In addition, to understanding networks including software and hardware. She manages projects from concept to completion.

Ahmed El has worked for Bravo Brio Restaurant Group for over 14 years, starting in Richmond, VA in 2003. He has traveled and served multiple locations nationwide before landing in Naples, FL. Ahmed started his culinary endeavors at the age of 17 in a high volume Italian restaurant. He claims he didn’t know much about cooking or being a chef and could barely cook a fried egg, let alone execute the method of an intricately written recipe. He credits mentorship by a number of great chefs and a drive to continue learning and growing in the culinary arts to his numerous accomplishments today.

Ahmed joined the Culinary Accelerator @ Immokalee in January of 2018 and will oversee the operations and management of the kitchen and its members.

Ruth Fehr is a professionally trained chef and culinary translator. Through her work she teaches people about health supportive foods and how to use it as a tool for health and healing.

A certified Mind Body Nutrition Coach, and holistic nutrition practitioner. She is accredited by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. Ruth also received professional training in food therapy by world renowned food and nutrition expert Annemarie Colbin.

Ruth designs and executes educational programs and workshops. She has extensive experience working in corporate, non-profit and educational settings. Her work includes training health professionals in the art & science of Culinary Translation, teaching nutrition education to school children, and working with individuals and families on food choices and preparation techniques for creating therapeutic, nourishing meals.

Ruth received her BS from Florida International University and her MBA from Nova Southeastern University.

Matt Krug began at SWFREC in April as a Food Science State Specialized Extension Agent.  He recently obtained his master’s degree in food science at Kansas State University in Manhattan.

Matt is housed at the SWFREC and assists in the teaching of food safety workshops around the state of Florida. He also provides oversight to the food quality lab within the Culinary Accelerator located at the Immokalee Airport.

World-renown, Michelin 3-star Chef Christian LeSquer has agreed to join the Culinary Accelerator @ Immokalee team as a program mentor, facilitator, and special events ambassador. Most recently, was voted “Chef of the Year” in 2016 by LeChef Magazine. Le Squer is known for his exemplary consistency, which earned him 3 Michelin stars for 12 consecutive years. He earned his first Star at the age of 34, working as a chef at the Parisian Grand Hotel’s restaurant, Café de la Paix.

His involvement with the Culinary Accelerator is to help create and facilitate mentorship opportunities as well as special events and competitions to grow the program and facility.
